Blackjack is one of the most played card games in the casino. Blackjack also is the easiest casino games to learn and play. Fundamental game rules are the same at every casino.
The goal of the game is to get a total score that is closer or equal to 21 points than the dealer without going over 21.
If your card total exceeds 21, it is called a busting and the dealer wins irrespective of his total of the cards. In the case that both the player and dealer bust the dealer wins.

In Blackjack rules the cards are valued as follows: the cards from 2 to 10 are worth their numerical values, whereas face cards – Jack, Queen, and King are worth 10 points. Ace can count either as one or 11, depending on the game circumstances. The value of a card combination is the sum of the values of individual card in the hand.
In the event that the first two cards total 21 with any 10-point card and an Ace (11), you have what is referred as a blackjack and you win one. When tie occurs no one wins and a new card combination is played.

Your only opponent is the dealer. Other players at the table have no effect over your action or win.
As soon as you make a wager in the betting circle, two cards (one at a time) are dealt in a clockwise fashion. Each player is dealt two visible cards, and the dealer gets one visible card and one face down card (known as a hole card). When the player has received his cards he has the following options to continue with his game:

Hitting. This command means that the player would like to take additional card. A player can take as many hits as he would like until he is satisfied with the total of his hand, or the card combination has gone bust.

Standing. This is when a player don't want no more cards.

Splitting. Splitting is the act of turning one blackjack card combination into 2. In the event that the player’s initial 2 cards are equal in value then they may choose to split the hand. The player can play two hands independently.

Double. This command allows the player to double the wager and the player then receives only one additional card.

Insurance. In the instance that the dealer turns an up-card an Ace, he will offer "Insurance" to the players. The choice of insurance provides a player to bet up to half of his initial bet against the dealer's blackjack. If the player gets insurance and the dealer has blackjack, he will be returned the full bet. In the case that the player receives insurance and the dealer does not have blackjack, he will lose the insurance money but will be able to proceed the game with his original wager.

Dealer rules of play.
Each dealer plays according to a strict blackjack dealer rules. Dealers must draw additional card in the case that their hand totals sixteen or less. Dealers must stand if their point totals seventeen or more.
